What's allowed on Joda Collective, what isn't, and how we handle violations.
What Joda is for
Joda is a marketplace for South Asian fashion in all forms — bridal lehengas and sarees, casual kurtas, streetwear, Indo-western fusion, jewelry, accessories, shoes, and more. Listings should be real items that the seller owns, described honestly, with real photos.
Prohibited items
Counterfeit or replica designer items passed off as authentic
Items not related to South Asian fashion or occasionwear
Stolen goods
Items that violate copyright or trademark
Prohibited content
Photos that sexually exploit anyone
Hateful, discriminatory, or threatening language
Spam or duplicate listings for the same item
False or misleading product claims
Stock photos, watermarked images from other sites
Prohibited behaviour
Impersonating another seller, brand, or person
Leaving fake reviews or manipulating ratings
Pressuring buyers off-platform to dodge reviews, reporting, or safety protections
Coordinated inauthentic activity
Reporting violations
Use the “Report this listing” link on any listing page. We review all reports within 48 hours and act on confirmed violations. For urgent safety issues, email hello@jodacollective.com.
Enforcement tiers
Warning
First-time minor violations (missing measurement, low-quality photo). We'll explain the issue and give you time to correct it.
Listing removal
Content that violates this policy is removed. Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension.
Account suspension
Repeated violations or moderately serious offenses. A suspension may be temporary or permanent.
Permanent ban
Fraud, counterfeit items, or serious harm to other users. No appeal.
